Dear
THIS IS NOT A CIRCULAR
I was always told that if something goes wrong you should fix it.
Late last night we discovered that our payment processor (Stripe) has had some problems processing the card details of some people who wanted to join the Write That Book Challenge.
I won’t bore you with the details but it’s to do with CTA security levels.
What this means, is your payment of £9 wasn’t processed. And therefor, even though you wanted to join, you weren’t automatically enrolled on the Write That Book Challenge.
You may have had a failed to process notification or you may have received nothing. This looks terrible for me and it’s not good for you.
Now the good news
We've spotted it and this morning we have worked with Stripe and identified who was affected. It was only a handful of people, but you were one of them.
And we saw it just in time as the Write That Book Challenge starts on Monday.
I want you to enjoy the Write That Book Challenge but I don’t
want you to have to go through the payment process again.
So I will pay for your place. I know £9 isn’t much but this problem was caused by our supplier and I’ll cover it. You could spend the £9 on a book!
What's next?
You don’t need to do anything. At 12.30 today you will be registered for the Write That Book Challenge and you will receive information from michaelsdesk@michaelheppell.com with your joining details.
You can join the private Pop-UpFacebook Group now. It's here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/wtbspring22
I am sorry for the difficulty and hope that you will join in with the Challenge.
You intended to pay and you shouldn’t be inconvenienced because of this.
If you have any questions, please reply to this email and I will personally ensure you are happy.
Be Brilliant!
