Good Morning
Let's assume (for some bizarre reason) you decide to run the London Marathon.
You applied and shock horror you won a place.
But you don't have a plan.
Now all you have to do is to train for and run a marathon safely.
How hard can it be?
Which preparation method do you think would work best for you?
Create a personal 'work it out as you go' programme, toil on your own and just battle through.
Or...
Join your local, ‘Get fit for London’ running club.
What happens next?
The marathon doesn't take place until October, so you can put off your training for a little bit longer.
Wait until the warm summer nights become longer and lighter.
And should want to miss a few sessions… who cares?
Or we have a cold wet September and think, 'It can’t be that hard', quit your training and just rock up on the day?
What's the worst that could happen?
Don't answer that.
Or with Get fit for London the promise is to take you from couch to marathon safely in 5 months by using their secret weapon.
It's a club.
That means on the days when you don't want to train you will.
When you're feeling a little bit low a fellow club member is going to pick you up.
On Marathon day when you don't think you have anything left, you’ll dig deep because you’re running as a team.
The good news is this is just an analogy. You don't have to run the London Marathon - phew.
But you do have to write your book.
I’ve just described the Accountability Group element of Write That Book Masterclass.
For many previous members, it made the difference between years of wanting to be a published author and actually writing, publishing and selling their book.
Do you remember Monday’s Webinar? I asked the question, ‘How long have you wanted to write a book?’
For over 80% it was more than 10 years.
I don't profess to be an expert on human nature, but one thing is for sure: If not now when?
On Sunday the doors close for Write That Book Masterclass Summer ’22
The 100 plus who've already registered will start their 'marathon training'.
Without the achy calves but maybe some achy fingers.
Want to join them?
