Time for a Team 17 Time Out !
When I realised my Team 17 week coincided with school half term in our area, it straight away gave me an idea for a 'recharge' week.
#Timeout
It's important for all of us to take Time Out. During COVID we did 'Eat Out to Help Out'. Maybe now we should do 'Time Out to Help Out'. Because by 'putting on our own mask first', and making sure we're looking after ourselves, we put ourselves in the best position to look after and make a difference for other
people.
We maybe can't all take a month off (!), but it would be great if every member of Team 17 could find some time to have a Time Out this week, maybe an evening, an hour, or even just 17 minutes. And then we'll all get a chance to recharge the batteries for the return of Michael next
week.... because we'll probably need it!
So that's my challenge to every member this week. It would be great if you can post examples of what you've done with #Timeout in the group. I'll post 17 suggestions - the first 10 are below - and I'll post 7 more tomorrow. Feel free to add any more of your own suggestions in the group, too. It's ok to help others as long as you help yourself
first.
1. Attend Ildiko's Energy Mastery Stream at 7pm On Tuesday. It's almost like we planned this !
2. Watch one of your favourite Comedy TV programmes or films. Nothing beats a good laugh.
3. Do a meditation; at least one example should be posted in the group this week.
4. Relax with a jigsaw or a puzzle of some sort ( especially if that's the sort of thing you wouldn't normally do ).
5. Just sit with a nice cup of tea, or a glass of wine maybe, and have a quiet read.
6. Play with a child. And really play, be totally present and pay 100% attention to what they're doing. The younger they are and the more silly the play, the better :-)
7. Listen to a favourite album you haven't heard for years. Try to notice something you've never noticed before.
8. Be creative - drawing (Sue Trusler's Stream maybe?), or something else where you create something just for you.
9. Cook your favourite meal. And don't rush, really take your time and enjoy it.
10. Talk to the most positive friend or work colleague you know; it's bound to lift your spirits.
Have a great week all. Take some time out for yourself and share what you did in the group. #Timeout..........
