You won’t write your book.

Ouch.  

Or I should say, you won’t write your book if you keep on doing what you’ve always done.  

Planning, hoping and ‘one daying’ isn’t enough.  

Time for a plot twist.  

This is where pulls it out of the bag, learns the tools, does the work and YES they become a published author and win The Booker!  

What changed?

All good books need a story arc. And alongside the lows, there should be some epic highs.  

Where are you on your arc?

And what’s next?  

In all good plots, what is it that changes?  

It’s when the hero decides enough is enough.  

There’s a moment, a shift, for an author. It’s when their mindset goes from, ‘I’m going to write my book’ to, ‘I am writing, publishing and selling my book!’  

That’s a plot twist.
