If you want to know the person you will become in five years time then take a close look at the books you read and the people you spend your time with.  These two areas will have a bigger impact on your life than any other. I'm sure you have a good idea of the type of books you read, so in this newsletter I want to focus on the people you spend your time with.

Having a brilliant group of friends who are there for you during the bad times and are happy for you in the good times is the ultimate goal.  Unfortunately, you will have had the experience of jealous friends during your good times and those who seem to leave like rats off a sinking ship when times are bad.  It's not that they mean to do it; perhaps it's bred into us from an early age (especially the bit about being jealous of success).

Here at Michael Heppell Ltd, we were in a bit of a quandary. Plans are developing for our next How to Be Brilliant course in October and we're really very excited about it. However there was one slight challenge - we didn't know where to host it!

Traditionally we've held the two-day event at the beautiful Jesmond Dene House Hotel in the heart of Newcastle however most recently it took place at the multi-award winning Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel, London. With such excellent feedback from all events and cries of 'encore' from all four corners of the country we were left furiously scratching our heads!

So it's over to YOU where would you like our next How to Be Brilliant to be held? It's either Newcastle or London..

Can you help? All you have to do is e-mail us at
info@michaelheppell.com with either 'Vote Newcastle' or 'Vote London' if you want you can add a line or two about your choice. At the end the one with the most votes will be the winner and the public has spoken!

And to say thank you for helping us to decide we will give a FREE PLACE on How to Be Brilliant for one lucky voter.

Voting closes on June 11th ...Who wins? YOU DECIDE!

Michael has spent the last 10 years of his life working with over half a million people around the world.

This is your chance to ask Michael a question that affects you, your business, or any other area of your life.

Dear Michael,

Recently I've noticed my boss is watching me very closely. I really don't know how to interpret this and it's unnerving me. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Georgina

Dear Georgina,

So why do you think your boss is watching you so closely. Do you think they don't trust you or do they have you lined up for promotion? The fact is if you thought you were up for a new position, a 25% pay rise, fame and glory how would you act? Well that's exactly they way to act right now even if they have negative reasons you'll soon change their mind.

Be Brilliant,

Michael
