Two years ago on this day...

| It was exactly two years ago today that I was asked by Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans to be a guest on his Radio 2 show to talk about Flip It. Nothing could have prepared me for what happened next... The producers had called my office earlier saying how much Chris liked the book and asked if I would like to go on the show to talk about it. That's one of those invitations you just don't turn down. I prepared myself for the interview, ensuring I had sound bites ready and thinking about the questions he may ask. All of that was completely unnecessary as Chris started the interview with, 'I don't know how to make this interview as good as your book'. 'It's brilliant, it's simple, it's a joy. I want everyone to pop it into someone's stocking!' The next few minutes were wonderful. Chris was very generous and raved about Flip It for five minutes. I'm a huge Chris Evans fan so for him to say he got something from the book meant such a lot. Within 90 minutes Flip It was sold out in every book shop in the country and it shot to number 2 on the overall best seller list on Amazon (only Stieg Larsson sold more books that night!) A couple of weeks later when new stock arrived I had a Number One Sunday Times Bestseller.  That was two years ago and can you believe it, I think Flip It is already out of date. That's why my Publishers asked me to write a second new edition with more ideas and more ways to Flip It. And I'm delighted to say.... it's out today!
