I'm fed up
hearing excuses. 'We haven't performed because of all the bank
holidays.' 'It's a nightmare, no one's in right now'. Yes it's a scrap,
yes the bank holiday Royal Wedding down time threw a curve ball - but
now it's time to move on. There are no more bank holidays for months. No
more excuses.
I've noticed a growing trend in the number of people who have their
excuse lined up before they commit to a project, almost making its
failure a prerequisite. 'But I did warn you', they'll say. Get involved,
make a commitment to see it through and act. No more excuses!
The worst comes from the whining voices of the people who quote 'company
policy' or else they're 'not authorised' to help. These days everyone
must take ownership and responsibility. No more excuses!
And of course the classic, 'I haven't got the time'. Time just is. We
all have the same amount, it's how you manage it and what you CHOOSE to
do with it that makes the difference. No more excuses!
Apologies for the rant, but I had to get it off my chest and challenge
you to think if that might just be you? No more excuses - for me too!
Be Brilliant,
Michael |

Our new website was launched in January and amongst the compliments we also received feedback from visitors who thought we could do better. Many of those ideas are now being incorporated including; videos, easier navigation and meatier e-shopping experience. We're mid-way through our facelift but take a look and let us know what you think so far at www.michaelheppell.com

You may remember that in our last newsletter we had a competition to see if you could guess which time-related statement was incorrect.
Thank you for everyone that e-mailed us, we literally had hundreds of entries.
I'm delighted to annouce that the winner of the signed copy of 'How To Save An Hour Every Day' is Pauline Bain.
Congratulations Pauline!
