Lots of people would like a coach. They hope their coach will give them answers, point them in the right direction and even give them the motivation to follow through. The truth is if you want better answers the first step is to ask yourself better questions. Even turning a hopeless statement into a question is a good start! And who knows, you may have the answer right in front of you. Here are a couple of classic statements and better questions to get you started. I'm always skint - What can I do to add value and hold on to the money I do get? Why can't I lose weight? - How can I find a diet that fits my lifestyle and makes me feel and look great? I'm tired - What can I do to boost my energy now? I feel so down - What can I focus on that will make me feel better now? I don't know - Where can I find this knowledge now? A great coach will help you with extra techniques, ideas and the drive you need to really step up, but the first stages could be found simply by asking better questions. Be Brilliant! Michael |
