Christmas is all about giving.
And I'm not talking about giving in order to receive something back but giving for the pleasure of the act. To make someone smile. To make a friend feel good about themselves. To inspire someone else to do the same. To help people less fortunate than yourself. To get into the spirit of the season.
This is where Random Acts of Christmas Kindness comes in. This December I want you to think about what you can do to help others? Small gestures of kindness, altruism and compassion that will mean a great deal to others.
I want to create a wave of kindness. I want you to Pass It On.
A recent study in the Scientific American showed that altruism was contagious. If someone experiences a random act of kindness they are more likely to reciprocate by performing an act of kindness themselves. How brilliant is that? It's like a wave of positivity!
But I know, I know...
I haven't got time. Money's tight at this time of year. I don't know what to do?
