When I was 16 I visited the McVities
biscuit factory in Harlesden, North London. It was amazing! Especially the manufacturing process for the classic Rich Tea. Did you know in 1983 McVities made six packets of Rich Tea every second, 24 hours a day, six and half days a week? I'll save you maths it's 3.3 million packs a week! When you're sixteen you can't help but think; that's a lot of biscuits, but
you also completely miss the point of the statistic. It's six and half days a week, not seven. I can vaguely remember the Factory Manager making a joke along the lines of, 'Even our production line needs a rest'. I've since trained senior execs from United Biscuits and fondly retold them the story of my teenage visit to their McVities factory. True I was hinting for free biscuits (the highlight of the Harlesden tour) but I was also intrigued
in their process. And now more importantly... What happens when a production lines gets a rest. The ovens cool. The lines are checked. Parts are replaced. Deep cleans commence. The whole thing just needs to stop for a while. Ahhhhh and relax. You know where this is going don't you? We're living in a 24/7 world. A world where being stressed is a national pass time. Where
you're expected to be 'on' even when you're off. And even if you did take a half day out of seven, just for you, you wouldn't really know what to do to properly manage the stress that builds hour on hour, day on day. It's an epidemic, it's not going away but you can do something about it. I've written a simple two page report called The Top 5 Reasons Why You're Stressed... and what to do about it. It's free, takes five minutes to read and could
just save your life. So if you, like millions, are feeling a bit, a little or a lot stressed click here, pop the kettle on, take five minutes for you and have a read.
Be Brilliant!

PS I'm not exaggerating about saving lives. Get the report, read it and do a couple of the simple things I advise.
