I'm doing a lot of interviews at the moment in preparation for the publication
of the 10th Anniversary Edition of How to Be Brilliant in September.
It's nothing like those mega publicity junkets that famous actors do, (they can line up 40 interviews a day)! But I am becoming quite practised at getting to the point and making the job easier for the interviewer.
The other day I listened back to a couple and had a little 'aha' moment.
I realised there are six questions I'm always asked. They are:
1) How did you get started?
2) How would you describe what you do?
3) Can you give our readers / listeners a tip that would help them right now?
4) Who have you worked
with?
5) What are you planning to do next?
6) Are you always this positive, happy and relaxed?
I'll not go into my answers, (I don't want to spoil those articles due out in September).
What is interesting is how those questions define a person.
So rather than me answering them, how would you answer them?
Take five minutes, and if you're not delighted with your defining answers then perhaps it's time to make a change.
Be Brilliant!
