Well when I say 'date' it was my friend, Paul.
That's him >>>
He's a hairy former fitness trainer who whispers louder than most people shout, has a left arm that looks like a colouring book and drops more F-bombs in the average sentence than you would in a month.
And I left feeling energised.
One of our discussions was around where you get energy from? We're both givers. We put it out without any expectation of getting something back. Doing what we do as a job is just the bonus!
Paul's advisor suggested he was giving too much (the easy part) and not recharging (the
harder part). And when he recharged he made sure that he did it the RIGHT PEOPLE.
For Paul something had to change. So now his 'me time' has been expanded to four hours a day and he's found a new mentor in LA who's giving him the energy boosts he needs.
Doesn't that get
you thinking?
Are you give, give, give? If so when do you get to take?
We agreed that when we're receiving coaching, learning and education, they were the best ways to recharge and take something for yourself.
YES AND I'M ALSO TALKING TO
YOU!
We also agreed that learning from fun exciting people makes it even better.
That was enough back patting, Paul then hit me with (in his opinion) some home truths.
He told me,
in no uncertain terms, that my emails needed a facelift, my marketing sucked and I should be selling a lot more of my good stuff to my members.
He begged me to remind people that they can unsubscribe at any time. He's right the unsubscribe button is at the bottom of this email. And that unsubscribes are great.
He almost screamed, 'They [unsubscribes] are never going a buy a ten quid book from you never mind invest in a course. They just want free content and complain when you dare to mention something with a cost attached'.
I was feeling challenged - it was good.
Finally he said our Hearts and Minds Ambassador Training was too cheap at £745 and it should be double the price!
That's where he got it slightly wrong. However he did get it partly right. The fees for Hearts and Minds Ambassador training are too low and will go up, next week.
But only by £250 to £995.
On the flip side, this means you can save £250 per person and become a Hearts and Minds Ambassador by participating in our only Hearts and Minds open programme in 2014 if you book now.
All the
details are here.
Goodness knows why I'm telling you this, but if you'd like to know more about Paul Mort you can visit his website here. It's not for the feint hearted and he will sell you
stuff.
Be Brilliant!
