I called Sky yesterday to cancel my sports package. I'd worked out for the amount I could save annually by not having Sky Sports I could almost buy a flippin' football club.
The wonderful lass in the Edinburgh call centre was great banter. And she had me in stitches doing the security check.
I was giving her my postcode and just for fun I made up my own super positive phonetic alphabet. So instead of saying P for Papa and
F for Foxtrot I said, 'PF as in Positively Fabulous'.
She had a wee laugh and then told me just the other day she received a call where the customer said, 'Q as in cucumber'.
Brilliant!
I'm having another little giggle writing this now.
I loved her confidence sharing the story. I loved the story. I think I know people who would say Q as in cucumber. So do you!
She made my day.
Interesting isn't it how such a simple interaction can make a difference.
It's all about the small interactions. The banter, craic, chat or whatever you choose to call it.
Go on, have some banter - make someone's day.
Be Brilliant!
