Dear How to Be Brilliant reader
I've done my best to filter our database and (in theory) I'm only sending this to people who have read my book How to Be
Brilliant.
If that's not you then please accept my apologies and you can stop skimming this email now.
Or – if you're curious – go on,
keep reading.
Remember Chapter 7 The four magic words? 'I need your help?'
Well guess what?
I have a challenge and I am asking for your urgent help to do something.
It will take you around ten minutes.
And in return I'll give you something special.
Here’s The Challenge
The wonderful people at Amazon.co.uk have re-listed How to Be Brilliant for the new 10th Anniversary Edition
Which is
wonderful.
However, in doing so, all 70 existing reviews have disappeared!
Can you imagine how thrilled I was about
that.
But a quick flick through How to Be Brilliant reminds me to focus on my Circle of Influence. And in particular what I can do.
What I CAN do is… ask you to write a new review.
And what I can also do is offer some simple guidelines to make it easy for you.
And, in the spirit of focusing on just 3 things, I can also send you a free gift to say thank you and encourage you act swiftly.
My request is super simple
Just go to Amazon.co.uk and write a review of How to Be Brilliant.
Please make it all about the book and obviously don't say I asked you to write it :) That's the type of thing my mum would do. 'Our clever Michael has written this super book...' etc
Here's what I'll do for you
If your review is over 100 words and if you post it in the next few days I'll send you a copy of the brand new edition of
How to Be Brilliant – just to say thank you.
It's not a bribe. It's a thank you.
If you'd like to help me then have a quick read of the
details below and get cracking with your review.
Thank you in advance for you help.
Be Brilliant!
Michael
PS The super gift is being provided by my wonderful publishers Pearson
How to Be Brilliant review and thank you.
Here are the details
2) Make the review all about the book. Please don't mention this thank you offer, that I've asked you to write a review or we’re mates.
3) Say what ever! I'm not asking for 5 star reviews (though that would be nice). If there are bits you don't like about the book say it. If there are bits you particularly like please mention those too.
4) Email me via MichaelsDesk@MichaelHeppell.com telling me which review will be yours and an
address where you would to send us to send your book.
5) As soon as your review goes live we’ll send you your book. We have 20 thank you copies to give away.
6) Any questions please reply to this email.
That's it.
Thank you again for being totally wonderfully amazingly brilliant!
