And the winner is...
Well, we’ll get to that in a moment. The real question is, why do people want a coach in the first place?
Lots of the people
who do need a coach don’t use one and many folk who don’t need a coach do.
The world’s greatest coach
I sent out a tweet last week from @MichaelHeppell announcing the winner of the World’s Greatest Coach and it caused quite a stir.
Perhaps the result wasn’t what people were expecting.
The world’s greatest coach isn’t exclusive, always has time and has a fee structure that even the most hard-up can
afford.
The world’s greatest coach is… your intuition.
Your intuition always knows what you should REALLY do.
Your intuition screams advice.
Your intuition knows you better than anyone.
If you want to lose weight your intuition will be screaming, ‘Put that cake down, get some exercise, eat less and move more’.
If you want to build your business, your intuition will be yelling
advice on how to get your teams motivated, focusing on the important things (not the fluff) and following up EVERY opportunity.
Your intuitive relationship coach couldn’t be clearer. Get back to what it was like when you fell in love; make time to go on dates, listen (first) then talk.
Before you
engage a Coach ask your intuition if you really need one.
Then if, (and it’s a big IF), you do want to engage a coach, choose carefully.
You don’t want a coach who’ll take your watch off then tell you the time.
You need a coach who will:
Challenge and support you in equal measure
Give you specific tools to help you achieve your goals
Share unconditionally
Admit when they don’t know the answer…
…but help you find a person who does
GUARANTEE their work
and ultimately put themselves out of a job.
The good news is, there are lots of great coaches out there who will help you get from where you are now to where you want to be.
But before you do that, ask your intuition what you should really be doing.
