Did you miss me? Probably not.
I can’t imagine you sat in front of your
computer every day wondering why Michael Heppell hasn’t sent you a newsletter and hoping it might arrive today.
It’s not that I’m lazy. It’s just that writing a newsletter didn’t make my FMITTDT list last week.
If you haven’t read it, you’re probably wondering what I’m banging on about.
The $100,000 idea is the simplest and most effective Time Management idea ever.
Brace yourself while I reveal it:
At the end of each day, write down the Five Most Important Things To
Do Tomorrow.
That’s it! Other than I add, And Do Them. Making the acronym the ever so catchy FMITTDTATD!
This is a daily habit for me... because ‘TO DO’ lists don’t work,
But ‘MUST DO’ lists do.
Last week, Write and send newsletter, didn’t make it into my ‘Top Five Most Important…’ list. It’s a shame because I enjoy writing and sharing my ideas. But if it doesn’t make my list, I’m not going to do it.
Last week there was more important work to do.
You and I know there’s a massive difference between ‘urgent’ and ‘important’. But do you follow through on what you
know?
Urgent can wait. I’m only interested in important.
Be Brilliant!
