This is going to be a brilliant
week.
Let’s get straight to
it.
Today's check list
Please check that you have done the following:
- Joined the TEAM 17 Facebook
Group. Although it’s not essential to be a part of the FB group it is a hub and, as you’ll see, several key parts of TEAM 17 stem from the platform.
- Ensure your emails are coming through. I
understand the irony of asking you this in an email. Add michaelsdesk@michaelheppell.com to your 'safe senders' and have a quick check in your junk folders to make sure nothing else has ended up there.
- I’m going to be doing a LIVE broadcast at 5pm on Thursday into the FB Group. Please pop it in your diary. Don’t worry if you can’t be there live (but I'd love it if you could) as it will be recorded.
- And our first TEAM
17 Zoom meeting for DAY 17 will take place at 17:00 (5pm UK time) on October 17th. Please pop this in your diary, too. It will be an important session.
TEAM 17 University opens this Thursday 1st October with Freshers and the first series of learning modules will be released on Kajabi.
You’ll receive more information about this during the week. During
the live on Thursday I’ll be showing you how to use Kajabi and will be sharing more information about the programme as well.
As part of launching TEAM 17 University we’re going to give you a
challenge.
It’s called Meet Me Meet
Three
Tomorrow you will be emailed with the names of three fellow Members of
TEAM 17. Your job is to connect with them and say ‘hi’.
It’s like starting a new job or course and letting someone know you are there
for them.
There’s no obligation to become life-long buddies; it’s just saying hi and
maybe sharing a little bit about what you hope to get out of TEAM 17.
We are using a randomiser to generate the list. Obviously, we aren’t sharing
email addresses so could we suggest you use ‘Messenger’.
TEAM 17
T-Shirts
Thank you for voting for the colour of the t-shirts. So far it’s pretty close
between burnt orange or navy blue. If you haven’t voted yet please do so now.
The next 17 Minutes With... will be published
this Saturday. It’s a cracker :)
And that’s the
announcements.
One of the wonderful challenges of running a group like this is the amazing
diversity of the people involved.
We’re going to do our best to work at a speed everyone is happy with, to
have content that everyone loves, fun that makes everyone smile, challenges that take you out of your comfort zone (enough to create a buzz but not so far as to make it unpleasant), connection that makes you feel like you are part of a vibrant community but that isn’t overwhelming and to offer exceptional value, support and customer service.
