As we reach the mid-point in the pop up, the end of the challenge and look at what happens next, I've become quite reflective.
When I launched Write That Book I had no idea it would create so much interest.
It appears that, yes, most people do have a book inside them.
My job is to help to get it out!
As we head into the final week of the Write That Book Pop-Up I wanted to share my thoughts:
People are amazing! Everyone in the Write That Book wants to help. Did you see the comments posed yesterday? – wow!
They are incredibly
creative. The last time we did this in May we had some good ideas. This time many of them are really quite brilliant.
New Authors can write! One of the biggest worries for new authors is, ‘Can I write?’ YES most of the posts we have seen from 'promise' to 'para' are good, some exceptional. I know (if you stick with it) you will become accomplished.
The timing is
perfect. Dark nights, new lockdown measures, self-doubt all go out of the window when you start writing your book. There’s no feeling like it.
New Authors are
fun! I’ve laughed out loud at some of the titles, comments and paras. And some of you are quite dark in your writing. I like that too!
Wonderful balance of
genre. The split between non-fiction and fiction, business, children’s and personal development is very balanced this time. This is great news if you’re considering joining Masterclass.
