On Thursday I pressed send: Moments later my latest missive left my outbox and seconds later arrived in your inbox.

Curious you clicked the ‘find out more button’ and you may have watched the video of me chatting with the enthusiastic but dimwitted BrillBot.

Perhaps you thought. This looks cool. Let’s join in.

And that’s when it all went wrong.

Because that big red spot was an almost total outage of the platform we were using to help people join our SMS group.

Thank you if you tried - and apologies if you couldn’t make the blinking thing work.

And if you did manage - bravo!

It was one of those days where you have to walk the talk and use your own tools.

It’s fixed now. And SMS is up and running.
