Hi
When I wrote my first book I would have been delighted if my mum and a couple of others were the only people who bought it.
All I longed for was my name on the cover of a book.
Just a few weeks after publication, How to Be Brilliant entered the top ten business books. And stayed there for two years and four months.
Wow. My life changed.
I wasn’t a celebrity author - I didn’t want to be (I’m quite private) - but here are three things that happened directly because of my first book:
1) I was able to massively increase my fees as a speaker and coach.
2) Celebrities approached me to coach them; Davina McCall, Sara Cox, Patrick Kielty, England footballers, even a supermodel all came into my world because of the book.
3) My Confidence in my ability soared!
I was no longer just Michael Heppell; I was now Best-Selling Author Michael Heppell.
Similar things have occurred for my friends who are fiction writers (upgrades, invites, connections) and it happens for children’s authors too.
I’m not suggesting you need or want these things.
What I am saying is writing and publishing your book is an amazing catalyst to help you to achieve any goals you may have.
Be Brilliant!
Michael Heppell
PS I have one more welcome email to send you tomorrow. It's called 'What's the point?'
There is a point. It's huge.
