I've just been talking to my brilliant PA, Vanessa.

 

Last night, she enjoyed a dinner with her daughters and explained how it was particularly pleasurable as they arrived early and were home before 9.

 

I remember when I would laugh at my parents when they wanted to do things early. 

But now I am exactly the same.

 

‘Last minute’ doesn't really have the appeal it once did.

 

I like to know that I'm all set, organised and there'll be no surprises.
