The Write That Book Summer ‘21 Pop Up Group opened on Tuesday.
Over 800 people have already joined the summer challenge, almost 500 joined the Facebook group on the first day!
You can join here.
Here are a selection of the wonderful introductions.
Which one resonates the most with you?
Stefanie Lillie - I have written a children’s book and already have received some great advice from the How to Be Brilliant page.
Chris Roberts – I’ve been writing since I was about 13 but have never done anything with it. I’m now 40 years old and the realisation I won’t live forever has now dawned on me. So, no time like the present.
Lisa Clifford - I’ve always wanted to write a book, but I get stuck.
Kitty French - I have one novel in the editing stage, one novel half-finished and am currently working on my first poetry book.
Jan Murphy – I’m a 67yr old, retired grandmother of seven, who has been writing for as long as I can remember...I’m VERY excited.
Milan Iz Hoste - My goal is to write two books this summer. One on breathing and the other on conscious life.
You can join the pop up group and challenge here.
Jane Culley – Myself and a co-writer have written a book, it’s sort of Jilly Cooper meets Dan Brown. I have started on the next one and enjoy the process. We are not published yet, but ever hopeful.
Keith Tucker – ‘I kept a journal of some of my time in the army. Now attempting a novel. I just wish I had written earlier, but I thought my dyslexia would stop me. It didn't.’
Becky Davies - Writing a children's book presently with illustrations. I have non-Hodgkin lymphoma and I'd like to publish it as an accomplishment. Complete novice, not a clue what I should be doing next.
Ana Remigio - I have been toying with the idea of writing a book about Breast Implant Illness, which I have been a victim of. I know what I want the book to do, I know what message it will send.
Jilli Moult - I'm absolutely saturated with ideas, but I never manage to get anything tangible written down.
Think what you will learn just by being part of this group?
Louise Bourdon - I am in the process of writing a few books but no idea how to get published!
Pippa McKean - I have an idea for a manual-style book aimed at women from their late 30’s to early 50’s that want to focus on self-development and make lasting change.
Andy Grant – I am trying to figure out how to write an almost memoir-style book about my fire service career. I have a title and basis for it, but have never written anything like that before so am intrigued to get some ideas.
Julie Marie Jones - I am writing non-fiction, covering my 30 years of studying and travelling in Israel and Palestine.
Dawn Dobson - People tell me that I should tell my story… finding out I was 5 months pregnant at age 45 (I was told ‘the chemo will make you infertile’)!
I think this year hundreds of first time and experienced authors are going to write, publish and sell their books.
