I hope you have had a brilliant week and you are excited about the start of Write That Book Masterclass Summer '21 which starts officially on Monday!

 

Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone for their amazing diligence in ensuring they have completed their pre-work. If you're unsure here is a reminder:

2. Joined the Facebook group and posted your author bio with a nice pic J

 

3. Logged in to Kajabi

This weekend we will be designing the Accountability Groups and setting up everything for Masterclass. This is massive task - think creating a seating plan for 123 wedding guests where you've never met any of them.

As of today only 7 of you still need to - if that's you and you don't want to end up on a table with smelly Aunt Mable, begging for anything but the gluten free, vegan, lactose intolerant, celiac mush the venue gave you because you didn't fill in a food preference - then complete the Q&A now!

 

The Facebook Group is an optional part of the programme. We are aware that some people don't wish to have a Facebook membership. This is fine. However, if you are a member of Facebook and you haven't joined the Write That Book Masterclass Summer '21 Facebook Group yet, then now is the time to do so. 118 of you already have.

Next, Kajabi 

This is where the videos are going to be posted. At the moment there are no videos to watch, only two posts to read.  One welcoming you to the Masterclass University and asking you to leave a comment the other introducing me as your course leader.

 

You will see this content fill up over the coming weeks and months until eventually there will be 40+ interviews, recordings and bonus materials.  

We drip feed these over the 12 weeks to ensure you get the right information at the right time. Otherwise, it would be an overwhelming amount of material to take in.

THIS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO LOG IN TO KAJABI

If you have had a technical challenge signing in to Kajabi then please have another go. These are the top three reasons why people may have a challenge.  

 

1 Users expect the email to come from Kajabi.  Although it is from Kajabi, it says Michael Heppell as the sender at the top. This is to identify that it is us - the actual email address it is sent from is michaelheppell@t.kajabimail.net.

 

2 This email may get lost in a junk or spam folder.  If you have been unable to find your Kajabi login and you have checked these folders, you can request that Kajabi sends you a new log-in just click here and if a log-in page appears click on ‘Forgot Password’.

You will receive an email with the subject ‘Reset Password Instructions’ It will include a link that will ask you to update your password. 

You don’t need to change your email. This must be done within six hours of requesting a new password, so please check your email regularly, so you don't miss this window.

​​​3. You already have a Kajabi product assigned to that email address. If that’s the case, log-in and check your ‘library’ where you will find Write That Book Masterclass Summer ’21 as a product in there.

Zoom Training 

We use Zoom as the platform for our main live training events. Other than the bonus sessions, they are presented as a ‘meeting’ rather than a ‘webinar’.  That means you can participate, ask questions, use the chat feature and, most importantly, interact with your Accountability Group in breakout rooms. 

On Sunday evening at 7:00 PM (all times are UK) I will be hosting a very relaxed Zoom intro training. This is designed to ensure everyone is comfortable with using the platform. 

Whether it's your first time, or you use it every day, it's worthwhile tuning in to ensure you can use the features.

 

For more advanced Zoom users it may seem very basic, but I would much rather you felt comfortable for Monday when we start the live events.

We use a waiting room, so you can log in early, relax and we will open the session exactly at 7pm. 

 

Your ONE email address

I know you've read this before but it's very important. Everything in Masterclass is linked to your email address, which means your login to Kajabi, the emails we send out (like this one) and your Zoom name.  

In the past, we have had members claiming that their Zoom Breakout Room wasn't working, only to discover they have used their work email address to set up Zoom and their personal email address to join Masterclass. What a kerfuffle.

 

You can have more than one email address for Zoom, but please ensure you log in with the same one that you have used for this Masterclass (it's the one this email was sent to).

 

On Sunday. I will send you a Zoom checklist. 

Please do not panic if you are not a regular Zoom user and the list looks daunting. The purpose of the session on Sunday night is to smooth out any challenges people may have.

Relax, there is always a way. Who know we may even do some writing, publishing and selling your book training.
