You may know that last September, I published my first new book for six years - ‘17’ - the sub title is the little way to get a lot done, but it's much more than that.
I decided to print, sign and number 1,000 hardback copies.
That was a mistake. It sold out in three days and I probably should have gone for 5,000. Lesson learned.
Did you know that printers will only guarantee the number of books delivered within 5%? They do this because should there be a problem with the print-run they're always covered. Cheeky printers.
That meant we had to order more than 1,000 copies of 17 just in case it was 5% less.
The good news was the print run wasn’t short, so we happily sent out our 1,000 copies to the first thousand people who ordered.
But it meant that I had a ‘run-on’.
Over the past few months, I’ve given a few to new friends but now it's time to clear the last few copies.
As a member of my community, I thought I would give you an opportunity to order a copy first before I offer the last few to corporate clients.
They will be signed (not numbered) and are exclusively available on a first-come, first-served basis. I can promise you there will be no more copies once these have gone.
