Hi
We watched the
surfers for two hours the other night.
Not in Hawaii
or Bondi, they were in the North Sea. Brrrr.
For every
second they were up... there were many more minutes spent bobbing, paddling and falling.
Getting
wet.
Writing
is surfing.
Someone reading
your work is paddling.
Getting a
review is standing up!
And for every word that’s read there are a thousand that didn’t make it.
The shitty first draft.
The first edit.
The second edit (what was I thinking!)
The proof-read.
The published book that just sits.
The fact is, if
you want to surf have to get wet.
If you want to
write, not only are you going to get wet, you have to make waves.
Fancy a surfing
weekend?
I’m hosting a writers Accelerator Weekend on 21st & 22nd August.
Last time I ran one it was an amazing success. More words written, more chapters created, more edits achieved and more books closer to publication (some even finished – one went to print!).
Here’s a very special offer for you. Book your place now and save over 50%.
