Of course, they were delighted to support a local author (even though he now lives 80 miles away). And when his book was published it was prominently placed on the shelves.
We all
want to support independent book shops. A great way to do that is to post a pic (like this one Roger posted) and let friends and followers know the shop where they can buy your book.
Supply Direct
There
are loads of ways for you to sell books directly to your readers.
It's
never been easier to set up you own simple website with a sales page. You can even connect it to Royal Mail to print your postage labels!
You don’t need Amazon to sell your book online.
Sell, sell, sell!
I
believe authors need to engage with a little sales hustle.
I don't
mean for you need to go all Wolf of Wall Street, but having the confidence to set up a sales page, support and approach local shops and make your work easily available has to be a stage on every author's journey.
I love
teaching new authors how to do this - and more.
When
you join my Write That Book group I’ll show you how.

Brilliant!
