Hi
'What would I do if I were coaching myself?'
I ask this question often.
It’s easier to give others advice than to take your own. Especially when ego is in play.
My lovely local bookshop asked for a further month stocking Write That Book.
But they want all copies to be sale or return.
As much as my fragile ego likes the idea of Write That Book being in the shop, it:
a) Won’t guarantee extra sales.
b) Doesn’t make sense if I quickly want to get my book in the hands of readers.
Time to ask the question, ‘If I were coaching an author on what they should do, what would my advice be?’
Pick up your stock.
Create a time-sensitive flash sale.
Allow potential readers to grab a fantastic offer.
Sell out of hardback editions then focus on paperback and Kindle Amazon sales.
Do this and everyone is happy.
And, as that would be great advice, that’s what I’ve done.
The Write That Book flash sale is live!
And, in a moment of madness, I’ve made the sale price of the signed hardback even cheaper than the paperback price
on Amazon.
I won’t be printing any more hardback editions.
