On September 15th, 2007, after working on ‘his thing’ every day for 89 days - 16 hours a day, Jeremy Harper achieved his goal of counting aloud from 1 to 1,000,000.

He streamed the whole thing.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week. He even streamed his sleeping and eating 😳.

To celebrate
reaching 1,000,000 which of these actions do you think he took?

Wiggled to the birdie dance?
Necked a pint of Guinness?
Wept
uncontrollably and dedicated the feat to his late grandmother?

Counting aloud to one million may seem like a pointless exercise, but…

Jeremy entered the
Guinness Book of Records as the first person to count to one million out loud.

He raised thousands for charity.

And he became a little bit famous.

And he said this, ‘Everyone has their number one. Everyone has their one million. To get from point A to point B you do it, one step at a time.’

And 16 years later I’m writing about him.

The question is, what’s your thing?

And what’s your 1 to 1 million?

I’d love to know.
I’ll send a copy of the 2009 Guinness Book of Records (the first one Jeremy appeared in) to our favourite.
You can find out what Jeremy did to celebrate (including a video) by visiting the online version of this newsletter. Please leave your comments too! It’s here.
