What would you like to receive? 

A nicely handwritten note in the post or a hurried text?  

I know it’s a faff, but so are most things that are worthwhile.  
 
And when does it become, so long since, and then ‘too late to bother’? 

It’s the same with a book. 

Admittedly with a few thousand words more. It still needs to be written. 

If not now when? 

Imagine if there was a handwritten thank you note machine! It takes what you want to say, writes the note and pops it in the post.  

I’d order one. Could it be adapted to finish your book (or the next one)? 

Open your mind and conceive… what if there was such a machine? What if it was languishing in the professor’s lab, cloaked and ready to be revealed?
