Timings
3:45pm Doors Open
Please note we cannot access the room before as there is a service in the Cathedral and the Clergy and Choir process through the room at 3:35pm 😇.
4pm – 6pm Masterclass (there will be a comfort break
midway)
6pm – 7pm Private Tour of the Cathedral (more info below)
Location
The Chapter House – Durham Cathedral (just off the cloisters)
Please note if you are traveling by car there is no car park next to the building.

Private Out Of Hours
Tour
We have been offered a brilliant opportunity for a private out-of-hours guided tour of The Cathedral (it’s stunning, fascinating and a World Heritage site).
It will take place after the Masterclass (enough time to nip to the loo first) and will last for approximately one hour.
There will be a small charge of £7.50 per person plus an out of hours fee. Christine and I are paying the out-of-hours charge, so all we need to know is if you would like to participate in the private tour. Bring your £7.50 on the day.

The Chapter House is where the Monks would meet. It’s also the set of Professor McGonagall’s classroom from the Harry Potter movies.
