As we come to the end of the wettest, coldest, July - certainly in my memory, I've decided I need a quality break.
I’m taking all of August off to recharge, reflect and embrace some much-needed me time.
Don’t worry – (as if you were
😂) you won't be left without your regular Thursday dose of inspiration.
While I’m resting, you’ll receive five short newsletters, lovingly crafted by our clever Brilliant AI.
These newsletters won’t be me – but will be created using my
knowledge and what I’ve been teaching him (it?) over the last couple of months.
I'm hoping there’ll be words of wisdom, short stories, tips and a sprinkle of Heppell humour.
And here’s the best bit. I won’t even know what’s being written or sent.
EEEK! I must be mad.
I’m combining my rest with an experiment.
I know if I was around I’d want to tweak the words.
This way I won’t be able to.
It’s a test. It may be brilliant or could be terrible.
But as I often say, You don’t know until you go!
The Importance of Quality Recovery Time
Time off isn’t just about rest; it’s about rejuvenation.
I don’t know about you, but it’s often during a proper pause that my creativity flourishes and new ideas
emerge.
Just like your phone needs to recharge, so do you.
My final thought, and to justify my reasoning, there’s no point in me advising others to take quality breaks if I don’t.
I’m looking forward to coming back in September refreshed and ready to share
even more brilliance with you.
